When the time comes for a woman to be a bride it is a very special moment in their lives. When being a bride you are not only planning a wedding but you are also planning yourself as a bride. This can be pretty big planning event. You know the main thing to have as a bride is the wedding dress.

Picking out the right wedding dress can be hard because there are so many beautiful dresses that you can choose from. The brides dress is the main thing to pick out but there are many other things that go along with the bride as well. All brides go and get their hair done up real fancy and beautiful but some brides like to have things in their hair.

Bridal accessories include your hair. You can do your hair with diamond clips or barrettes. This can give your hair a nice fancy look. If this is not a look you want then another popular accessory for your hair is baby breathe. Baby breathes flowers gives a nice beautiful look to any kind of hairstyle and it goes great with any bridal dress. Another look that brides have gone for with their hair is having a tiara in their hairstyle. This gives off more of the princess look.

All brides need the jewelry in their bridal accessories. You will want to look for things like a necklace, earrings, bracelets and any other jewelry you might want to wear. A lot of women go with the diamond look of jewelry.

One of the most popular bridal accessories is the garter. You can get the garter in any kind of color. The garter is what you wear on your leg and at the reception the groom removes the garter from your leg and tosses it into the crowd of men.

Just like what the bride does with bouquet. This is a very fun time at the reception. If you are the kind of bride that is wearing gloves with your wedding dress then you will need to pick out a pair to match your dress. Tips for bridal make-up

by Sukhpreet kaur

you have found the groom, decided your wedding dress, it's time for you to decide your wedding look . Make-up is an important aspect of your wedding look. Here are 10 tips that will help you look perfect on your matrimony day.
1. Beauty Regime to be followed before the big day For that perfect glow on the wedding day, you need to consider a few things a few weeks prior to the wedding day. About six weeks before the wedding, you should start a skin and nail care plan. Tell your beautician to give you regular facials and manicures.

Avoid going in sun about 3-4 weeks prior to the wedding. Sunburns and peeling skin shouldn't disrupt your wedding day.

2. Take care of your Body-Mind-Spirit Always remember the importance of Body-Mind-Spirit. What's going on inside you is as important as looking good. We all know that preparing for a wedding is very stressful and if you are not taking proper care of yourself by not sleeping enough or not eating properly, it will definitely reflect on your face! If you are feeling really stressed out before the wedding, consider having a relaxing massage once every week during the month of wedding and also a day before the wedding day. Also, burn some relaxing essential oils around the house to help calm your nerves.

3. Trial Organize a trial around 1-2 months before the wedding, once you have chosen your make-up artist.

Ask the make-up artist to show you a few pictures from magazines that will help you in deciding a look.

Tell her if you have any skin problems or allergies etc or if there are any particular ways you wear your make-up.

If you are wedding is during the day, it is ideal to organize the trial during the day as it will give you a better idea as to how the make-up will look

4. Have pictures your wedding dress and bridesmaid's dresses If you show the make-up artist pictures of your wedding dress and bridesmaids wedding dresses, it will give her / him the idea for designing the perfect look for you.

5. What look to go with The style that you plan to choose for your wedding make-up will ultimately depend on your personal preference, but there are some other factors that you should consider:

The time of the ceremony - A lot depends on the time of the wedding. Is it during day time or in the evening? A subtle, natural look is more suited to a day wedding and a more striking look is suited to an evening one.

Other aspect is the time of the year of the matrimonial. If you are having a Spring/Summer wedding, go for bright, pastel shades in your make-up. For a winter wedding, warm, deeper shades are preferable.

Your skin tones and hair colour -

If you are blond or have a fair skinned, cool tones of grey, blue, soft pink and lilac are ideal for you.

If you are a brunette or olive skinned, warm neutral tones of brown, taupe, burgundy & red will suit you more.

6. Your Face Foundations with yellow undertones work perfectly with flash photography.

Avoid using shimmer highlighters as this look will not look well in photos and give a reflective shine.

Ask your make-up artist to use a bronzing powder, it will warm your skin tone and wll give your face a natural glow.

7. Your Eyes The make-up around your eye-area should be soft and natural with no heavy, dark lines. Use a brow pencil which is a little darker than your hair colour and keep away from heavy, dark shadows.

8. Your Lips Use a lip-liner which is of the same colour as your lipstick and do not use a noticeable or dark lip line, it looks tacky. If you define one area in your make-up, it will look more pleasing. If you want dark and defined eyes, go for a lighter lip shade and if you want bright lips, go for natural, light eyes.

9. Timing Don't forget to ask your make-up artist to arrive a little before time and so that there is enough time to get the job done. As the last thing you want on your wedding day is rush.

10. Last moment touch-ups Remember to ask your mum or one of your friends / sisters to carry a powder compact, tissues and lipstick for touch-ups during the occasion.

Just remember these tips and you will look the most beautiful bride on your wedding day.
