Welcome Tips For Winter Wedding Planning

by Diana Barnum

Planning a wedding is generally exciting and full of fun times. However, it can be a bear when winter weather conditions start setting in with your plans. Ice and snow and storms can delay travelers, especially for those times you need to get together to coordinate flowers, food, event activities and clothing choices with alterations.

But fear not! You can still enjoy warm wedding planning sessions with both your friends and relatives to the maximum extent possible with these tip, customized to fit your own needs:

*Begin Early: It's always better to give yourself plenty of time to accomplish all the objectives of the wedding planning checklist. Start your planning process about one year before the wedding so that you get enough time to look for bargain offers and find the most appropriate vendors. You must remember that you can take out only a few hours every week from your busy working schedule. As such, if you don't want anything to go wrong during the wedding, you should start early with your preparations. And allow plenty of time during winter to get things done well ahead of time.

*Involve Others: Of course a professional planner would be ideal; however, if you can not find one nor afford one, don't turn down some kind help offered by friends or relatives. Also head to the Internet is good resources like articles full of tips and ideas, budget guidelines, vendors and more. You can also look up a few books on wedding planning at Amazon.com and eBay.com.

*Make & Stick to A Budget: You might be like many and want your wedding day to be one of the biggest days in your life, so you might seek the best of everything to make it a glittering affair. However, most people are restricted by the amount of money that they can set aside for this purpose. You should, therefore, make a budget indicating the total amount of money that you can conveniently spend and then allocate portions of the budget for each aspect of the wedding planning. This will help you in selecting the various items and services that you need to get and checking whether you have strayed from your budget.

*Organize Your Guest List: An important aspect of wedding planning is the mailing of invitations. Spend some time to feed the names and addresses of all your guests in either a word processing document or in a spreadsheet in your computer. When the time comes for sending out the invitations or thank-you cards, this information in the database will be immensely helpful. You will be able to check whether all invitations have been sent and also the number of RSVPs received. This record will enable you to store the addresses of all your guests for the future as well. Budget in some emergency funds if winters are extremely bad in your area; for example, for any extra accommodations and food you might need for overnight guests held up by a storm.

The main thing to remember during winter weather is that 'Help Is Handy.' Warm your winter wedding plans and ease up on planning and wedding stress by accepting plenty of help of your near and dear ones. If you don't try to do it all yourself, you will probably end up being more than pleased with your warm winter wedding fun in spite of the cold season.
Just follow the above tips for wedding planning and you will find that all aspects will fall in place like snowflakes on your windowsill. Cheers! Winter Wedding Resource

How to make your wedding hairstyle stand out

By: Cindy Marcus

For you lucky girls about to get married, this is probably the biggest party like event that you will ever attend and one of the biggest moments of your life. With this in mind we all want our weddings to be memorable and to achieve that, everything has to be perfect, including the wedding hairstyle that you have selected. With so many people attending the wedding looking their best, it is essential for the bride to look just as radiant if not more than her guests.

If you have not selected a wedding hairstyle to match your dress two months from the actual wedding date, than I suggest that you quickly read my guide on where to find wedding hairstyles. For those who are prepared and have selected a hairstyle to match a lovely dress, let see how we can optimize the hairstyle with some accessories to make the bride stand out among the crowd of people, besides a beautiful white dress of course.

When considering accessories to spruce up your wedding hairstyle, there are quite a few selection of items ranging from small to large that fit different hairstyles including flow downs and updos. There are a wide selection of beads and small jewelry which make small yet noticeable changes. There are also a variety of hairpins that come attached with jewelry or formed in beautiful patterns. There are bun wraps and tiaras in a variety of beautiful designs made from everything from glass to pearls to even diamonds. As you can see there is quite a selection. Beads and jewelry are good additions without making too much of a splash. These come in glass, crystal, diamonds, and other material as well and can be added in different areas around the hair to provide an elegant look. Hairpins will also contain beads or jewelry, sometimes in beautiful arrangement like floral patterns.

These accessories usually come in sets and are the cheapest items available. Tiaras and bun wraps are hair accessories that make more of an impact on the whole look. Bun wraps are great items to attach to updos. They come in designs which include different jewels including pearls and some are designed in very beautiful floral patterns that can create a fairy tale look when everything fits. Tiaras are probably the most expensive hair accessories that you can get and can make the most impact, not only on the hairstyle but the overall look. There are a variety of tiaras to chose from ranging from cheap to extremely expensive. From floral designs to pure diamond studded ones, the wedding tiara is a very beautiful add-on for some wedding hairstyles.

However I do suggest going small with the tiara as a bigger one just takes too much attention away. For brides or bridesmaids looking for an extra addition to their hairstyle that makes for a unique beautiful look, add fresh flowers. Adding fresh, silken roses that match your dress to your hair can make for a very appealing look. Just purchase a few fresh flowers that match your dress color, cut the stems down to about the size of a hair pin and you have a natural hair accessory that provides a great look. So have a fun and memorable time at your weddings ladies and always remember that it's your day.

Wedding Hair Style Tips: Choose Your Wedding Day Hairstyle Carefully

By: Melissa Burton

Women like to look glamorous, elegant and sexy on their wedding day so they usually take the time to choose an extravagant dress, stunning shoes and make up, and then there is the hair style. Whoa boy! Women usually have a stylist visit them when they are getting ready for the wedding, which costs a fortune, or they visit the parlour early in the morning before their wedding to get their chosen hair style done.

A woman's hair may be her crowning glory, but getting a new 'do' just before a big event in your life can be a major mistake. Plan ahead with any chemical treatments - bleaching, colouring, streaking, perming or straightening - and if you're considering any radical changes in length or style do it at least six to eight weeks before the big event, this way it gives you and your hair time to adjust together and get a “working relationship” on the go.

On your wedding day, hundreds of eyes will be on you, and your chosen wedding hair style can either complete the picture or detract from it. That is why it is so important to choose the perfect formal hairstyle well in advance of the big day so that you and your stylist can get it right and make custom additions to your wedding hair style. Nothing is worse than a hastily crafted coif decided upon only minutes before the ceremony, take the time with your stylist to go over what looks suit you and what looks don’t, obviously avoid the looks that don’t suit you. Larger figures should wear their hair up as this draws attention and slims the face down, slimmer brides should look at curls which accentuate the face and shoulders.

Men may seem as though they don’t care about their wedding hair style and women are none the wiser to it, but in fact the bride groom spends at least 15 minutes making sure all the gel is in the correct plane and he has no sticky up bits!!

A great wedding hair style is crucial, especially for those wedding pictures, make sure it's not some kind of style which is going to fall all over the place or is going to be blown around in high winds! That way you can be sure of looking great in those pictures!

Help Picking The Perfect Wedding Hairstyle For Long, Short and Medium Hair

By: Sam-Smith

Sure you have a lot of things to plan like your wedding dress, wedding shoes and of course the accessories to go with your wedding day outfit. It all seems very overwhelming. However, one thing that you do not want to forget about at any cost is the hairstyle for the day. Your hairstyle is the crowning glory of your outfit and a great way to show off your personality. Hairstyles are very important and therefore a key ingredient to your wedding planning. It honestly does not matter if you have long, short or medium hair there are so many styles and options that with careful planning you will be able to find a wedding hair style that fits you perfectly.

First there are some important factors that need to be taken into consideration when deciding on the perfect wedding hairstyle for the big day. You want to think about the following three things as you decide your hairstyle.

Type of Wedding:
First you need to take into consideration the theme and style of the wedding. For example if you are having a very formal wedding then you will want to have an updo hairstyle or even a bun. Hair that is pulled back tight and controlled in a bun makes a great formal look and will therefore compliment a formal or classic wedding dress.

On the other hand if you are having an informal beach themed wedding in Hawaii then this formal bun or pulled backed and pinned hairstyle is going to look way out of place. Instead you will want to wear your hair down and possible use some curls or wave to give you hair a carefree style and lose and let down look.

So taking into consideration the style and formality of the wedding is very important in choosing your wedding hair style.

Personal Characteristics:
There are many personal characteristics about you that need to be taken into consideration before choosing your wedding day hairstyle.

For example Hair length is a very important factor. Are you looking for short hair wedding hairstyles of long hair styles. Depending on the length of your hair you will be forced into certain styles and so this should be though about in advance.

The shape of you face is another characteristic that should be taken into consideration before choosing your hairstyle. The texture and consistency of your hair is another important factor. For example if you hair that is thick, full and difficult to manage then again a style where you have pinned it up will be much easier for you to manage.

Wedding Dress and veil:
It is important to take into consideration the veil and headpiece that you will be wearing the day of the wedding. For example if you have a small tiara or crown then you will want a hairstyle that will show this off. Flowers and pins are also embellishments to your wedding hairstyle that you will want to plan for ahead of time.

There are many professional wedding hairstylists that are more then happy to consult with you and even help generate some ideas of what will look great with your style. The important thing is to plan ahead and get in early. Don’t leave the planning of a hairstyle to the day of the wedding it is too important!

Bridal tips on using hair irons

Author: Paton Jackson

The hair iron is coming more and more popular. It is used by women of all ages and for various purposes. We have gathered a few tips and guideline by women who use or used hair iron or other products to straighten their hair. We strongly advise to read it before you start using hair iron or other hair straightening tool

1. Use the hair iron only after you have cleaned your hair. Actually, it can be dangerous to use before you clean your hair because dirt or grease left in the hair will be cooked by the heat of the hair iron and the damage made is inevitable.

2. Do not iron your hair with a clothes iron. If you will use it without taking the necessary safety measures, your hair will singe. The singed hair can not be cut out or covered up. Use a hair iron produced for this purpose instead

3. A short straightening method using a hair flat iron : First dry your hair for about 15 minutes using a dryer, then continue drying your hair and at the same time comb it with your fingers. Comb it carefully so that you will get the curl out. Then, for a short time (no more than five minutes) use the hair iron at the ends of your hair. It is a proven and safe way to straighten and keep your hair shiny.

4. Following blowing dry your hair with heat, We advise you to switch to cold hair (Most products have this option). It makes your hair shiny and it is healthier for your hair.

5. Always use a brush while you blow dry your hair. It makes your hair straight and saves time.

6. Blow hair dry at night for a great and straight look in the next morning.

7. Try putting some gel after dividing your hair into three sections while blow drying your hair with a comb for straightening your hair.

911 Corp. executed an independent research to find the best hair irons. The results were clear. Sedu hair iron is the most efficient hair iron. Find out more on All about hair irons

Formal Wedding Hair Styles: Elegance for You

Author: Michelle Diamond

Searching for a hair style that will give you an elegant look? You'll be needing these kind of hair cuts if you're attending a wedding, a prom or a formal party or dinner. You'll need to look the best! From dressing up, wearing make-up on your face, spraying the best perfume, putting on your expensive jewelry, and the most important feminine feature, getting a formal hair cut.

Combine Yourself

Your hair has to accentuate your dress, make-up and jewelry. It has to combine with every aspect of your attire. That means not every style works for the same event. An updo might do wonders at a wedding ceremony, but not so much at a formal dinner. Or wearing shiny long locks might work for a fancy party, but might not look so well for a prom.

How to Choose Your Elegant Hair Style

The first thing to do is look for the formal hair do that fits you the most. It depends on the type of event, so bear in mind the moment of the day, the place, and the purpose while choosing the style. Try searching in magazines and online, but always keep in mind your own type of hair and shape of your face while doing so. Also, take into account your dress because you have to match the hair cut style with it. A good idea is to decide beforehand in whether your hair is going to be receiving all the attention or your dress. If the dress is simple, then go for the hair, if it's not then go otherwise.

Take Action

Once you find the one you want, cut it or print it out so you can take it to your hairdresser. You will want to do this because you need professional advice on the style, since hairdressers train for that all their lives, and you just want the style for one night. Take enough pictures to offer many options so that you and your stylist can decide on the perfect one together. Last but not least, you will need to prepare your hair for the style, so get it washed professionally and groom it to perfection, because you don't want any hair style looking shabby or cluttered.

Michelle Diamond has studied all her life to become a master in different hair styles. Now she wants to share her knowledge and experience with you so that you can have great hair cut styles and make this world a pretty place.
