Gorgeous Wedding Hair Thanks to Elixir Hair Mask and Reconstructor!

Newly wed, Ann-Marie, talks about how Elixir Hair Mask and Reconstructor made her wedding day something to remember and her wedding photos something to be cherished.
"Like many African American women, I have extremely curly hair. In all my childhood photos, my hair just stuck out like a sore thumb. Other kids would make a joke that my hair needed its own postcode, or its own seat on the bus. As much as those comments hurt, I knew they were right - it was, and still is, out of control. I didn't want that for my wedding photos. I wanted my dress to be the centre of attention, not my unruly hair.
The process took a little over 3 ½ hours from start to finish. I shampooed my hair twice with Elixir Deep Cleanser Purifying Shampoo to strip all the dirt and build-up from my hair, and then lightly towel dried my hair and then combed it out. I then applied the Brazilian Keratin Blow Out to my hair with a brush provided, similar to a standard 8″ brush for applying hair color. This part of the process took about an hour. When the treatment was completely distributed on every single strand of hair, I put my hair up with a clip, put a bag over my hair, and sat under a heat dryer chair for about 15 minutes. I was lucky enough to have access to a heat dryer.

If you don't, you can use a hand-held hair dryer but it will take 30 minutes instead of 15.
Following that, I started the process of blow drying my hair straight with a brush on a very high heat setting. This part of the process took about an hour. Once my hair was finally dried (I have very thick hair and it takes forever to dry!), I began the process of straightening my hair and the "sealing on" of the treatment with a very hot flat iron. I did VERY small sections of hair at a time and went over it several times to make sure the treatment was sealed onto each strand of hair.
On my wedding day, I had sleek, manageable and healthy hair that just looked fabulous. I didn't have to worry about my hair taking over the day. It even rained during the photos, but my hair remained in its new and manageable state. I was so happy! We honeymooned in Fiji and the treatment lasted all that time. Thank you so much Elixir!
